It was great. I really learned a lot. Mario is an excellent instructor.
I really enjoyed the photog event at the highlands..
The instructor was great, she taught me exactly what I needed to know. On the other hand it was a bit hard to focus with the cold wind and rain. When I signed up, I did not know it was going to be an outside learning experience, I was picturing a classroom!

The class was very helpful and practical. I learned a lot. Kaitlyn is a good teacher. She explained concept clearly and provided useful demonstrations

As a professional photographer I think it's important to have always have personal projects that will not only challenge you to be a better photographer but also bring a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. I have been wanting to get out and photograph more commercial properties that I find interesting and beautiful just to add to my portfolio and be able to show potential clients. The best times for wave action and sunsets are fall. I make sure to travel to the lake to capture such pictures. They are great to capture and watch the show in person.

I saw on the weather app that there was a gale warning at Lake Michigan, so I packed up my gear and headed out! The waves were crashing and the clouds held the promise of a beautiful sunset! It was one of the most beautiful sunsets for me to date! I used my Nikon Z6 and the ?kit? lens at 52 mm, because it?s great for wide angle! ISO200, f4 , 1/30s. A bit of editing in Light Room to lighten it up and bring out the colors the way I remembered them.

22 years ago I moved to the country out in Lowell. Fallasburg Park Drive, and the nearby streets are dotted with several farms, and barns. Probably my favorite subject to photograph farms and barns, so I made the right move. This barn is on the Smith farm, 2 minutes down the road. The farm is a centennial farm, in the family for over 100 years. Unfortunately, over the last year, Mr & Mrs Smith passed away. The family has decided to sell the 80 acres ($1.2 million). I wish I had the money

The resulting standing water gives a great reflection in reverse.45mm 1/30 f4

I was testing out a new backdrop that I purchased for a family mini Christmas shoot that I have coming up. I used to make my children be my models but since they are grown Zeus, my boxer, was such a good boy and was my model. This was shot on a Canon EOS 6D with the EF 24-105mm f/4L at 24mm, ISO 320, 1/160. I used two Alien B800 strobes with white umbrellas.
